WKC Career Ready

Programme

The college has partnered with Career Ready to provide A level students with mentoring, masterclasses 

and paid summer internships, enabling learners to build experience and skills vital for transitioning from education to rewarding employment.

 

Career Ready is a 14-month programme for A Level year 12 students. Once you gain a place on the programme you will be assigned an industry mentor to meet with regularly and discuss your career plans. You will participate in masterclasses to develop skills and you will have an opportunity to take part in a summer internship.

 

In the past our Westking students have been placed with organisations including: Arcadis, QuantumBlack, Citibank, CBRE, Financial Times and Baker McKenzie.

 

Applications for Career Ready programme start in September. The programme runs from year 12 to year 13.
