Barclays LifeSkills, the free employability and financial education programme has the tools and resources to help support you in developing the skills you need for your future career.
They will be running their online work experience programme which starts on 1st July. This is the perfect opportunity for you to gain insight into a range of job roles and what skills are needed.
The programme is not limited to those thinking about a career in financial services, as the knowledge and skills students will learn can be transferred to other industries.
The placement includes 5 live webinars, activities to test and deepen your learning, and the chance to complete a project. You will hear from Barclays employees, with the opportunity to ask questions and explore a variety of topics including:
- Early Careers at Barclays and working in financial services.
- Self-confidence and resilience
- Developing a growth mindset and understanding your personal strengths.
- CVs and preparing for interviews.
