Applications open for UAL Insights Autumn-Winter Schools 2023/24

UAL's Autumn-Winter Schools are open to second year Level 3 Diploma, A Level or Foundation students who meet the eligibility criteria on their application page.


The schools are a great opportunity to explore new areas of Art, Design and Communication across their Colleges.

Eligibility – who can take part

Students who meet one or more of the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Students whose parent(s) or guardian(s) have not completed a university degree

  • Students who live in a priority postcode area (using the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD), areas in deciles 1 to 4)

  • Students whose families receive benefits for living costs (including Universal Credit, Child Tax Credit, Free School Meals, Housing Benefit, Income Support, Income-based Job Seekers Allowance and Pupil Premium)

  • Looked after children and care leavers.

Students who attended the Spring or Summer Schools do not need to make a new application.

Insights Open Evening

Thursday 12 October, 4.30pm – 7.30pm Central Saint Martins, Granary Building, 1 Granary Square, London N1C 4AA

Join us for our Insights Open Evening at University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins. It's the perfect opportunity for prospective students to get a better idea of what studying at UAL is like and how they can get involved in Insights programmes.

On the night we'll have current UAL students sharing their portfolios, as well as UAL tutors and the Insights team on hand to answer any burning questions. There will be light refreshments provided and you will be invited to attend a presentation to hear from student ambassadors, student finance and the Associate Dean of Outreach, Paul Glennon.
